 COMPONENTS:
 Cinnamic acid, benzyl cinnamate, nerolidol, benzyl benzoate, cinnamyl cinnamate and benzoic acid.
 
 SCENT:
 Dark brown color has a pleasant smell of balm, vanilla and cinnamon.
 
 HEALING PROPERTIES:
 It is used as an antiseptic that causes wound healing, cleansing purulent wounds, helping with frostbite of varying degrees. Especially useful for infected and poorly healing wounds, burns, bedsores, frostbite, leg ulcers, and bruises. Externally used for skin infections, wounds, burns, hemorrhoids, as well as in the treatment of eczema, itching and scabies. For the treatment of hemorrhoids, special candles with Peruvian balsam are made. A strong antiseptic and stimulates the repair of damaged tissues.
 Stimulates the heart, increases blood pressure.
 Inside Peruvian balsam is used exclusively for chronic bronchitis. Due to its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties, it is used in diseases of the respiratory tract. When applied topically, it is moderately irritating to tissues and strongly antiseptic; when taken orally, it reduces the separation of bronchial mucus and causes increased urine output. Recommended for neurasthenia, hysteria, insomnia, prolonged nervous and mental stress.
 
 COSMETOLOGICAL ACTION:
 This oil is widely used to treat oily, dull and rough skin. Also used for sensitive skin, this oil helps with colds, bronchitis, eczema, coughs, and flu. This aromatic oil is a good solution for skin rashes, poor circulation, stress and anxiety. It is assumed that its application to the skin promotes the development of epithelial cells.
 
 CONTRAINDICATIONS:
 Non-toxic, non-irritating, non-phototoxic. An allergic reaction is possible, especially in children. Do not use during the first half of pregnancy. In some people, the skin does not tolerate Peruvian balsam, as well as ointments based on it. In addition, one must beware of its prolonged use on large areas of the skin: there may be complications in the kidneys. Avoid contact with eyes.
 Dilute to 5% (or less) in carrier oils.
 
 RECEIVING METHOD:
 Balsam of Peru is a resin obtained from the bark of the balsam tree (Myroxylon peruiferum) and other trees of the Myroxylon genus. From raw balsam (gum from branches and stems) by extraction with petroleum ether and subsequent distillation (steam distillation).
