Our organically sourced essential oil, known as cistus essential oil, is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the flowering cistus labaniferus plant, with white flowers with distinct red markings, grown in Spain.
The Egyptians, having imported rockrose from Crete, used the resin as a perfume and incense.
